Marco Gather Pace in Ireland

The specification of Marco's uPVC trunking and steel wire cable tray products is gathering pace in Ireland as another of the countries leading contractors make the switch.

Kildare-based, Cloncad, has recently utilised the manufactures’ Elite trunking as part of a renovation at its own head offices and has been incredibly pleased with the results.

Heather O’Brien, Operations Manager at Cloncad commented: “We’ve not worked with Marco products in the past as they haven’t necessarily had the same exposure here that they’ve had in the UK. We’ve recently met with the firm’s Irish representatives who showed us their product range and we’ve been very impressed.

“In fact, we’ve now used their products as part of our own renovation works. Our site guys were pleased with both the quality and the handling of the trunking as part of the installation, whilst we’ve all been impressed by the finish and final appearance.

“As a growing business, our need to partner with quality manufactures becomes increasingly important. We’ve recently secured a number of large healthcare and education projects and are set to use Marco products, utilising their antimicrobial specification for the hospital schemes and trunking, including floor boxes, for the university projects.”

Gareth Howes, Area Sales Manager at Marco Cable Management added: “It’s fantastic to be able to spread the Marco message with confidence across Ireland. Increasing awareness of the range and meeting new contractors is certainly opening new doors as more and more customers become switched onto to the Marco brand.”
