Jonny Stevenson from KMDL Engineering (NI) Ltd was the contracts manager on this project. Jonny described to me at the start what size of project it was and how many data cables would be needing housed in the trunking. All this info led me to recommend our ME3 trunking. I had to get a sample of ME3 for him to show the M&E engineer and then the client along with a data sheet of the product. We then had to arrange a competitive quote and provide one of our local stockist wholesalers to supply the products.

One of the challenges was the 3 compartment dado, due to the versatility of where sockets and data outlets could be mounted and later added to if required. KMDL Engineering (NI) Ltd and the team had to provide samples and data sheets on the product before we got approval. ME3 provided enough room for the Cat6A cabling on the project.
