Atkore Marco have supplied Apollo MTD3 uPVC Trunking as part of the new offices and distribution premises for Slumberjack Coffee in Antrim, Northern Ireland. Local Coffee distributor Slumberjack Coffee had new purpose built office and distribution premises in Antrim, N.Ireland which required cable management solutions.

Technical Sales Manager, Gareth Howes states, “When there is a change to for instance socket and data point height, Atkore Marco dado trunking is a great solution as it is flexible and can be mounted at whatever height required. In this sort of office environment if added power or data requested it’s only a matter of taking the trunking lid off and installing the extra cables required for the additional outlets.”

One of the challenges for this installation was that Power and Data were to be kept below the desks in the offices. The fact that Atkore Marco trunking was used allowed the designer to meet this requirement as the trunking can be mounted at any height.
Derek Johnston owner of DJ Electrical, states “We use Atkore Marco trunking all the time. It is easy to install and there’s a good solid feel to it. The lids fit very well to the base with a good solid click. Local stock at WS Mercer Ballymena is essential as there is always some extra parts required as the project changes are made.”
